I had a great evening. First I was picked up at my Hostel and we drove to the airport. First they had to do some paperwork and then we got some champaign and we watched a security video. After this everything was very quick. I was in the first group and we drove to the helicopters. They told us what to do then we got in the helicopter. It was just wonderful to fly over the whole strip and back. All the lights and then the feeling to be in a helicopter. It was just a dream. I wish I could do it again!

I went on a Hoover Dam Comedy Tour with my husband and father-in-law. They usually don't enjoy a lot of things but this tour was different. The comedian teased my father-in-law and after that you couldn't take the smile off his face the whole day. If we had taken the tour without a tour guide we wouldn't know about what went into making the dam and all the changes that will be taking place in the near future. This is truly the best dam tour to take.

Jason was our Tour guide and he was EXCELLENT! I can not imagine the tour guide being any better. He safely guided us through our canyon hikes the springs and for the kayaking on the water. He was out going and very people friendly and he providing interesting information about the canyon and the river on the tour.

Overall the kayaking tour was fantastic. Got some great exercise and the scenery was fantastic, including the mountain goats (or whatever they were). Be sure to wear shoes that you don't mind getting wet and are comfortable for walking.
