Heli USA is a certified FAA air carrier which requires the highest standards of pilot training and maintenance. Heli USA Airways owns and operates its own helicopters and vans. Air Carrier certificate No. 59HA265Y. Heli USA Airways is an FAA approved air carrier and recipient of numerous safety awards.

Heli USA’s internal safety and training program even provides for an FAA designated check airman on staff. Quality control and factory trained FAA certified technicians are also employed on premises for ongoing maintenance programs. Heli USA is a member of the Tour Operators Program of Safety (TOPS) which pro-actively promotes helicopter sightseeing safety.

Exceptional Pilots

Heli USA only employs highly experienced tour pilots whose average flight time is over 5,000 hours. Pilots are trained in accordance with FAA, Part 135 requirements (to the same standards of major air carriers).

About Heli USA Airways' Helicopters

Equipment: We fly only $1,000,000 A-Star Executive Helicopters. These helicopters are the preferred helicopter for sightseeing worldwide, and Heli USA has the largest fleet of them in the western United States. We have high load capacities and guarantee all forward facing seats with un-restricted, spectacular viewing, and climate control. Other companies fly Bell helicopters, which are slower, not as comfortable, or as smooth Heli USA's A-Star Executive Jet Helicopter. Also, Bell helicopters have two rear facing seats and have restricted forward viewing in the cabin. Other companies cannot guarantee you will fly in an A-Star.

Why A-Star Helicopters:

An A-Star helicopter is by far the most comfortable way to experience an air tour. A-Star helicopters, even in windy weather, are much smoother than planes. And, while there are many reputable air carrier companies, only helicopters can legally descend below the rim and show you the real Grand Canyon.
